Meriwest Names Kathryn Diamond Vice President of Lending and Collections

SAN JOSE, Calif., April 22, 2002 -- Meriwest Credit Union, one of Silicon Valley's largest financial institutions, has named Kathryn Diamond Vice President of Lending and Collections. Kathryn is responsible for managing and growing Meriwest's consumer and business lending portfolio.
Most recently, Kathryn was Vice President and Senior Business Manager for the eBay/Wells Fargo internet joint venture. While there, she launched Wells Fargo's first direct to consumer lending business and managed servicing risk for nonprime, home equity and consumer lending portfolios.
Prior to Wells Fargo, Kathryn was a cofounder and Chief Credit Officer for Irwin Home Equity, a nationwide financial services company, which grew to over 350 people and a portfolio of $2 billion in four years.
In her 20 year financial services career, Ms. Diamond has contributed to growing new business units as Vice President, Operations/Credit for EurekaBank; Vice President, Nationwide Credit Policy for Bank of America and Assistant Vice President, Regional Operations for Citibank.
