Meriwest Names Maryanne Doty
Financial Center Manager
SAN JOSE, Calif., September 21, 2005 -- Meriwest Credit Union, one of Silicon Valley's largest financial institutions, has named Maryanne Doty as Manager of Meriwest's Chesbro Financial Center. Ms. Doty will be responsible for achieving new heights of member sales and service satisfaction managing the San Jose Main office, as well as the Silicon Valley Lab office and the Almaden Research Center office.
"Maryanne has been a valued member of the Meriwest team for the past five years as the Assistant Financial Center Manager at the San Jose branch and we are very excited she has accepted the San Jose Manager position and know that she will achieve new heights of achievement in member satisfaction," said Maria Sanchez, Assistant Vice President, Retail Financial Centers.
Prior to Meriwest, Maryanne held the position of Vice President and Branch Manager for Bank of America where she managed a branch of 35 employees in sales and service to ensure that the branch met its quarterly and annual goals related to product sales, referrals, customer retention, deposit growth and loan growth. Ms. Doty has over 35 years of financial services experience and an extensive business banking and business development background.
Ms. Doty took personal financial planning courses in the U.C. Berkeley Extension Program and took extensive Bank of America training classes. She has also been involved with professional organizations in Gilroy and San Jose.
