SECURITY ALERT -- Fraudulent E-mail Lures Meriwest Members with phrase free $100 credit now!

Attention Meriwest Members: Be on the lookout for an e-mail that claims to deposit $99 into your account as incentive to participate in a survey. In part, the e-mail states:

Dear Customer,

You've been selected to take part in our quick and easy survey. The survey has only 9 questions.

In return, we will credit $99.00 to your account - to show our appreciation of your time!

Please spare two minutes of your time and take part in our online survey so we can improve our services.

It will then ask you to click on a link to begin the survey. DO NOT click on the link.

This is a fraudulent e-mail that did not originate from Meriwest Credit Union.

If you received this e-mail and inadvertently clicked on the link -- or have any questions about this fraudulent e-mail -- please call us at 877-MERIWEST (877-637-4937).
