Meriwest Credit Union taps NCR Corporation to develop next-generation digital banking experience. 

Silicon Valley, CA – April 4, 2022 – Meriwest Credit Union, based in San Jose, California, is implementing digital technology capabilities to provide a diverse and more personalized product banking experience. In addition, Meriwest is increasing fraud prevention and strengthening cybersecurity resilience for consumer and small business members using AI and advanced fintech solutions. 

As such, Meriwest Credit Union, turned to partner NCR Corporation (NYSE: NCR), a global enterprise technology provider, to develop strategic capabilities using digital technologies. The addition of the state-of-the-art NCR Digital Banking system will also provide an intuitive experience for retail and business banking, powered on one digital platform, to connect all channels, engage new members in differentiated ways, and provide flexible and innovative services for future generations. 

Meriwest Credit Union delivers financial value to members across the California Bay Area and Pima County, Arizona. Members will be able to easily expand their relationships with Meriwest through new financial solutions and offers within digital banking across the branch, ATM and self-service access points. Future members will benefit from automated enrollment into digital banking.

These advancements will also enable Meriwest to enhance debit card functionality and recover rapidly from adverse events caused by malware, ransomware, and other harmful attacks. As of now, Meriwest is successfully using NCR Terafina’s onboarding and account opening solution to grow and provide consistent, omnichannel experience for current and incoming members.
