Meriwest, Selected Runner-up for Best Credit Union in Silicon Valley, first-place bound, launches new website
Meriwest Credit Union, one of the largest credit unions serving Silicon Valley, is excited to announce its selection as runner-up in the Best Credit Union category in the Mercury News’ 2019 Best of Silicon Valley Awards. But, not satisfied with second place, the credit union launched an improved website on June 27, as one of many planned steps to move into first place next year.
Meriwest Chief Experience Officer Tony Cortez said, “This award is a testament to the commitment and dedication of our employees who work tirelessly to serve our members and community. We are honored to receive this award and will use this as incentive to continuously improve our products and services.” Cortez went on to say. “But we are not stopping here. This month we launched a new website that offers an even better member experience. And we will continue to improve our member experience, online, in branch, wherever, throughout the year.” Cortez continues, “The new website has a streamlined, modern design and functionality that provides our members and visitors with robust information, easier navigation and simplified menus. It marks another step in our drive towards a stronger and better online presence.”
Now on its 18th year, the Best of Silicon Valley Awards recognizes leaders in a variety of categories with more than 6,000 votes cast by readers of the San Jose Mercury News.
