International Wire Transfers:
Meriwest has partnered with OFX to save our members time and money on international money transfers. With better rates, NO transaction fees*, and 24/7 support, Meriwest and OFX can help in transferring your international funds, as little as USD $100, where you need it most - quickly and securely. In addition to cross-currency payments, you can also make international payments in your domestic currency.**

What you will need:

Outgoing Transfers
You will need the following information to request an international wire transfer from your account:
- Name of payee or the person receiving the wire
- Physical address of payee
- Full Account Number of payee
- Foreign bank name, address and swift code number
- The amount of the wire
- Type of currency to be delivered
- The account that will fund the wire
- The name of the person requesting the wire
- Daytime phone number of person requesting wire
- Additional instructions for payee if needed (i.e., invoice number, etc.)
- Reason for wire transfer (This may or may not be required by the receiving country. However, providing this information may prevent or reduce delays.)
- Any other information required by the receiving country (i.e., additional bank codes, relationship between sender and payee, etc.) OFX will alert you if additional information is required.

Incoming Transfers
Following is the information that you will need to request an international wire transfer to your account:

Please note that Meriwest Credit Union does not have a SWIFT Code and is unable to receive funds directly from a foreign financial institution via wire transfer. The foreign financial institution sending the funds must use another U.S. financial institution as an intermediary. The intermediary institution will forward the funds to Meriwest using our ABA Routing Number.
Domestic Wire Transfers:
Domestic wire requests received on weekends, holidays or after 2:00 PM, Pacific Time will be processed the following business day (excluding federal holidays).
Payment orders, cancellations, or amendments received after the applicable cut-off time may be treated as having been received for processing on the next weekday the Credit Union is open.
A signed Funds Transfer Authorization Agreement and Notice must be on file with the Credit Union before the domestic wire transfer request can be processed.
If you cannot be reached by the phone number that we currently have on our system, the request must be received in writing with a verifiable signature referencing the phone number to be used for verification. The domestic wire transfer request can be sent in by fax at 408-363-3330 or 408-363-3416.

Eligibility Requirements
You are eligible to join Meriwest Credit Union if any of the following applies
- You live, work, worship, or attend school in Alameda, Contra Costa, San Francisco, San Mateo and Santa Clara counties of Northern California, and Pima county of Arizona.
- You are an employee of a participating Meriwest Credit Union member company.
- You are a relative of or reside with a current member of Meriwest Credit Union.
