Potential Fraud Alert System
In our continuing efforts to keep your accounts secure, we’ve improved our alert system for potential fraud related to your ATM or debit card.
If potential fraud is detected, you will, as before, receive an email notification for confirmation, sent to your email address on file.
In addition, one minute after the email, you will also receive a text alert, if Meriwest has your mobile number on file.
If there is no response received from you after 5 minutes, then you will receive an automatic phone call for confirmation.
We can only alert you by text If we have your current mobile number on file. If you have not provided us your numbers please do so at 877-MERIWEST (877-637-4937) so you will receive these alerts. Or login to Online Banking to review your profile and make any necessary changes.
IMPORTANT: All notifications will come from Meriwest Credit Union! Our messages will NEVER ask for your PIN, Account number, or other personal information.
Note: The phone number for our Fraud Center is 800-237-8990. If you add this number to your phone contacts and label it “Fraud Center,” it will display whenever you get a call from this number.
