Meriwest's VIDEO Essay Competition
Deadline Extended to February 14, 2020!
High School Students: Here's Your Chance to Win up to $1,000. This year we are looking for youth, grades 9 through 12, ages 13-18, to create a video that answers these questions:
"If you were the CEO of a Credit Union designing services to attract Gen Z, what are the top two services that would be most important to include and why? How would you market those to Gen Z along with the benefits of joining a credit union?"

- The video length should be a minimum of 2 minutes and a maximum of 5 minutes*
- Upload your video to YouTube. Be sure the privacy settings for the video are public or unlisted
(but not private)
- Include your first name, age, grade level and school name in the video

To be eligible, you must be a student, grades 9 through 12, ages 13 to 18 and a Meriwest member** (new members welcome) who has a grade point average of 2.0 or higher.
To enter, simply download the application, review the full competition rules and complete release form, and submit your video in the required format no later than Friday, February 14, 2020 by 5:00 p.m. PST. Winners will be notified no later than February 28, 2020.

*All footage, including music, must be originally created material or you must obtain proper legal permission to use someone else’s copyrighted material. Entries will be void if they are incomplete, late, lost, damaged, or are not able to be viewed due to technical error. No entries will be returned. All entrants give Meriwest Credit Union permission to use the videos, including the right to use their names, photographs, and video submissions for advertising, publicity and promotion purposes, and to edit or make changes to the announcement. By entering this contest, entrants agree to abide by these contest rules and regulations.
**Participants also must live, attend school, or work in Santa Clara, San Mateo, Alameda, Contra Costa or San Francisco counties, or in Pima County, Arizona. Students who do not reside, attend school, or work in these counties — but are existing Meriwest members or children of members — are also able to enter the competition.
