Meriwest ADU Expo Official Raffle Rules
NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN
NO PURCHASE, PAYMENT, ACCOUNT, TRANSACTION OR OBLIGATION NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. NON-PURCHASE ENTRIES AND PURCHASE ENTRIES HAVE EQUAL CHANCE OF WINNING.
Eligibility: The Meriwest Credit Union ADU Expo raffle is open only to legal U.S. residents who are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of the raffle. Meriwest Credit Union members who are not in good standing with the Credit Union are ineligible to participate. Additionally, all employees, agents and/or representatives of Meriwest Credit Union are ineligible to participate. By entering this raffle, all participants accept and are bound by all terms of these official rules.
Raffle Period: : 2 hours before the ADU Expo starts (when the booth is set up) to the start of the game.
How to enter: : There are two (2) ways to enter the Meriwest ADU Expo Raffle before the start of the expo. Limit one entry per participant via one of the options below.
- QR Code: Eligible participants must scan the QR Code, fill out any and all applicable information to be entered in the raffle by the end of the game.
- Raffle Ticket: Eligible participants may enter the raffle by filling out all applicable information on a physical raffle ticket. Participants must also fill out a corresponding form with applicable information to be entered into the raffle by the end of the game.
Prize(s): $100 gift card
Odds of Winning: Odds of winning are based upon number of entries that are received. Based upon Meriwest Credit Union’s estimation of 5,000 entries, the odds of winning are 1 in 5,000.
How to Win: The winner will be randomly chosen from all eligible entries received in accordance with these Official Rules. The winner will be notified on or about the following business day and contacted by email and/or telephone. If an entry is drawn, but the judges cannot determine the winner because of illegible writing or information deemed necessary to declare a winner is missing, that entry form will be disqualified, and another entry will be randomly selected at the Sponsors discretion. The decision will be final and binding. The winner will be notified by telephone, or by email, and must meet all eligibility requirements, including the execution and return of all necessary releases, and affidavits. If (i) Meriwest Credit Union is unable to contact the winner, (ii) the winner declines his or her prize, (iii) or the winner fails to comply with any of the Official Rules, such winner will be disqualified and an alternate winner will be selected by random drawing at the Sponsors discretion. By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to receive marketing promotions from Meriwest Credit Union without further compensation or permission, except where prohibited by law. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the judges as final and binding in all matters pertaining to the Raffle. By accepting prize(s), the winner agrees to hold Meriwest Credit Union harmless against all claims and liability arising out of use of the prize(s). The winner assumes all liability for any injury or damage caused, or claimed to be caused, by participation in this Sweepstakes or use or redemption of any prize(s).
Tax Issues: Meriwest Credit Union will report the prize winnings to the appropriate state and federal agencies as required by applicable law. Winners are responsible for all tax consequences (if any) for the prize, and all other costs not specifically outlined above.
Winners Names: For a list of the winner(s) names (no later than thirty (30) days after the Raffle has concluded), please send a self-addressed stamped envelope to the Sponsor.
