As a Meriwest member you are automatically enrolled in Meriwest Merit Rewards. Your level is determined by your qualifying products and balances. Key benefits start at the Merit Plus level for members who have checking with direct deposit. From there, your benefits grow as our relationship grows – just add qualifying products and grow your balances and you’ll earn more and more meaningful benefits – all designed to help you save more, earn more, and enjoy an enhanced level of service.

merit classic Members who do not currently qualify for the Merit Plus, Gold or Platinum Reward Program Levels below. -
merit plus Members who maintain a checking account with a monthly direct deposit1 of at least $1,000. -
merit gold Members who maintain: (a) a checking account with a monthly direct deposit1 of at least $1,000, (b) at least one additional product from the Qualifying Products list, and (c) at least a $5,000 minimum average daily balance in total deposits and/or loans with Meriwest Credit Union, excluding Meriwest Mortgage loans. -
merit platinum Members who maintain: (a) a checking account with a monthly direct deposit1 of at least $1,000, (b) at least three (3) different additional products from the Qualifying Products list, and (c) a $10,000 minimum average daily balance in total deposits and/or loans with Meriwest Credit Union, excluding Meriwest Mortgage loans -OR- Members who maintain a combined daily average balance of at least $250,000 in total deposits with Meriwest Credit Union and/or assets under management with Meriwest Wealth Advisors.
- Direct deposit: aggregate of at least $1,000 per month, must be consecutive for at least two (2) months.

Checking Account Options
Consumer Accounts Only. All rewards will be calculated and issued per membership. Your Merit Rewards Program Level will be re-evaluated every month, based on the prior month, which means your level and rewards can change from month to month depending upon your overall relationship with us. You must be a member in good standing in accordance with our Consumer Account Disclosure and Deposit Agreement to be eligible. Members considered not in good standing, including members with a delinquent Meriwest loan, mortgage or credit card (over 30 days past due), will be disqualified from the Merit Rewards Program immediately until the Credit Union determines, in its sole discretion, whether a member is considered in good standing again.
Membership is required with a one-time non-refundable $5 fee.
